How Do You Define Value?

Seems like a lot of companies get stuck on this one when figuring out what to build next. And honestly, I think it's because we get too focused on slapping a pound sign on every single thing.
Sure, money matters. But what about all those other types of value? Like, fewer customer complaints means a much happier team and you're not ruining your reputation...that's gotta be worth something, right?
The big struggle is how do you weigh it all up? Often, people try to force everything into numbers, even the stuff that's not directly about money. It gets a bit messy.
It's about making those judgment calls, balancing all those different values. More of an art than a science, really.
